Arthritis

Arthritis: Inflammation of the joints with pain, stiffness & swelling  which can restrict  the movements around called as arthritis.
Commonly two types are seen.
Osteoarthritis: This is related to aging, infection or an injury.  &
Rheumatoid arthritis: This is an autoimmune disorder .
In Rheumatoid Arthritis symptoms generally worse in the morning i.e. stiffness;
In the early stage of Rheumatoid Arthritis patients may not have  symptoms after a morning shower. In the age old persons and children, pain may not be the main presenting feature; the age old patient simply does less movements & the infantile patient avoid to use the affected limb.
The most common form of rheumatoid arthritis is Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis which is seen in children.
Other types of arthritis:
-Septic arthritis: is the purulent invasion of a joint by an infectious agent which causes arthritis.
- Gout: when there is increased level of uric acid in blood, crystals of uric acid or monosodium urate are deposited on the articular cartilage of joints, tendons & surrounding tissues.
Burning pain, stiffness with redness & swelling with warm affected foot. Pain starts suddenly & is called as rich man’s disease Or the disease of kings.

- Still’s disease: generally this disease affects to 16 to 35 years old peoples & presents with Arthralgia, pyrexia,‘salmon pink’rash & lymphadenopathy.
- Ankylosing spondylitis: Chronic inflammatory autoimmune disorder which mainly affects the joints in the spine & sacroilium in pelvis causes fusion of the spine. Complete fusion may cause complete rigidity of the spine which is called as bamboo spine.
- Psoriatic arthritis: this is an inflammatory & autoimmune arthritis, mostly seen in the patients suffering from psoriasis.
Arthritis either may deal with internal or external organs of the human being however the core understanding of homeopathy reveals that the actual cause is internal and hence homeopathy targets to treat the problem at root level The treatment is as per the patient’s physical and mental condition and the internal treatment at times is directed to assist recovery in the affected area.
Homeopathy tries to carry out the treatment with minimal dosage that stimulates the body of the patient. Though the exact cause is not always known but homeopathy is considered to be one of the most effective ways of treating for arthritis.
